Join us for the live judging of this year’s Short Story Competition. Our panel of judges will select the winners from each category and award prizes in front of a live audiences. Featuring extracts from some of this year’s entries.

Do the Animal Bop and listen to the clarinet, bass clarinet, bass recorder and saxophone whilst meeting the animals and learning their dances! Each session is 30 minutes in length and places are limited so book in advance to avoid disappointment.

A creative writing workshop with Dan Simpson (spoken word poet and writer) and Thomas Emson (horror novelist) that is sure to pick your brains and get your blood flowing. Vampires and zombies once again dominate film, TV and fiction, and this is your chance to create your own stories and poems about the undead….

A swash-buckling, fang-baring adventure story, based on the award-winning novels by Justin Somper. Twins Grace and Connor Tempest are evicted from their lighthouse home, and separated by a violent storm. Rescued by a notorious pirate ship, the adventure begins!
